This tasty campaign looked at the evolution of one of Britain’s most iconic dishes, the roast dinner.

National representative research revealed that the roast dinner is a favourite meal of the week for 40% of us, whereas just over 15% now regularly make a version that is vegan-friendly or gluten free.

We enlisted food historian Sean Charrington-Hollins to explain how the roast dinner has evolved over the years, to now include items including mac and cheese, plant-based meats and fish.

Our video team created an engaging piece of content that showed the evolution of the dinner, from way back in 1920 to present day.
